About
Built to find you a remote tech role.
techjobsremote.org indexes the official careers pages of 1,000 top tech companies — mainly Silicon Valley and the latest YC batches — and surfaces the remote roles open to US and Canadian candidates. First- party listings only: every job comes straight from the company that posted it, and you apply on their site.
publisher identity
TechJobsRemote Research Desk
The Research Desk is the editorial function responsible for this site's labor-market analysis, methodology, and candidate guides. We publish under a team byline until a named contributor or expert reviewer participates; we do not invent individual authors or credentials. Our work combines reproducible calculations from the active listings database with human-written interpretation and explicit limitations.
Index
We maintain a registry of 1,000 top tech companies — Silicon Valley mainstays, AI labs, dev-tool and SaaS leaders, plus the latest Y Combinator batches.
Crawl, where allowed
When a company publishes its careers board through an official public API (Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby job-board endpoints), we read it directly. No job-board aggregators, no HTML scraping.
Structure
We store only factual job metadata — title, team, location, salary range when disclosed, employment type, posting date — normalized into one schema and filtered for remote roles open to the US or Canada.
Link out
The board refreshes daily (plus hourly revalidation). Applying always happens on the company's own original posting page — we never sit between you and the employer.
How we earn trust
Source transparency. Every job links to the employer's original careers page. Editorial reports identify their sample, measure, exclusions, and sources.
Corrections. Send the page URL and supporting source to hello@techjobsremote.org. Material article changes receive a new updated date.
Automation disclosure. Software collects and normalizes public job records. Automation may assist calculations; it is never presented as an expert or a source.
Commercial independence. Employers do not pay to enter the crawled index or receive favorable research conclusions.
techjobsremote.org is an independent index and is not affiliated with the companies listed. Job postings remain the property of their respective companies. We store normalized job facts and, where the public careers-board endpoint supplies it, a sanitized copy of the description required to understand the role. We always link to the original posting. Data is provided as-is. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and Editorial Policy.
